Becky & Gino // The Cabildo Wedding in New Orleans, LA
There’s just something about New Orleans — the architecture, the energy, the way the streets feel alive with history and music. Becky and Gino’s wedding day captured all of that and more in a celebration full of love, meaning, and the kind of magic only the French Quarter can deliver.
The day began at the iconic Hotel Monteleone, where Becky got ready surrounded by her closest people. Her mom gently helped with the back of her dress — one of those quiet, emotional moments that marked the start of it all. Sunlight poured through tall windows, laughter floated through the room, and then came one of the most touching parts of the morning: Becky’s first look with her dad right there in the hotel room, filled with emotion and pride.
From there, Becky and her bridesmaids walked through the French Quarter streets to the venue — bouquets in hand, soaking in the buzz of the city around them. It was a scene straight out of a New Orleans postcard.
At The Cabildo, Gino waited in the historic ceremony hall. Rather than a dramatic reveal, their first look happened the moment Becky stepped through the entrance — their eyes meeting across the room in a way that felt simple and real. That space, filled with soft light and old-world character, couldn’t have been more perfect.
The ceremony was heartfelt and honest, with warm wood floors, soaring windows, and a deep sense of place in every detail. Surrounded by family and friends, Becky and Gino exchanged vows in a space steeped in Louisiana history.
Afterward, the two of them slipped upstairs for a quiet moment together — and some of our favorite portraits of the day. The rooftop of The Cabildo offered the most stunning sunset views over Jackson Square. With golden light pouring across the skyline, Becky and Gino shared a few peaceful minutes above the city — laughing, embracing, and taking it all in from that breathtaking vantage point.
Then it was time to celebrate. The night kicked off in true New Orleans fashion with a second line — a brass band leading the newlyweds and their guests through the streets, white parasols in hand and handkerchiefs waving overhead. The joy was electric, the music infectious, and the whole Quarter seemed to lean in and cheer.
Back at the reception, the energy never let up. With candlelight flickering, champagne flowing, and music filling the air, Becky and Gino’s guests danced and laughed well into the night. The space was full of love and movement — the perfect ending to a day that felt like a living love letter to New Orleans.
