FAQ
What does coverage mean exactly? If I book a certain amount of coverage does this mean you are photographing the entire amount of coverage straight with no breaks?
Let’s use 5 hours of coverage as an example. If you book us for 5 hours of coverage this does NOT mean we are photographing for 5 hours straight with no breaks. There WILL be breaks in photography for things such as using the restroom, walking/driving to a different location, drinking water, eating snacks or dinner, waiting for delays or downtime in the overall timeline of the wedding day, unexpected circumstances that are out of our control, etc.
Here is the actual photography coverage clause we use on our wedding contract: Photography Coverage. Photography coverage includes, but is not limited to; photographing, driving between locations, walking between locations, setting up specific photographic opportunities, communicating with Clients, communicating with other vendors, waiting, using the restroom, eating food, drinking water, circumstances out of the Photographer’s control, breaks or any other activity related to the wedding. The Clients also understand and acknowledge that while performing photography services the Photographer will make decisions about which moments to photograph and/or deliver to the Clients. The Clients accept that these decisions are up to the discretion of the Photographer and agree not to hold the Photographer liable for any photographs either taken or delivered to the Clients or not taken or delivered to the Clients.
Do you provide preview images (sneak peaks) after the session or wedding is over?
We can and will provide preview images for sessions and weddings. That being said, we do NOT guarantee preview images for any client. We also do NOT guarantee a deadline for preview images.
Will you post any preview images (sneak peaks) of my session or wedding on your social media accounts such as Instagram or Facebook?
We do post preview images on our social media accounts solely based on our discretion. We do NOT make any guarantees to any client of posting preview images.

How many hours of coverage will I need for my wedding?
This is probably one of the most common topics we discuss with our brides and grooms. It’s a very valid question, and at the same same a very open ended one. Each wedding is so unique, so for that reason it’s somewhat difficult to give a specific answer to each bride and groom. That being said, the best solution for this is to discuss with us over the phone your specific wedding needs, timeline, what you are wanting covered, etc. This always helps our clients get a good feel for how many hours they need us for. Check out our article about the wedding day photo timeline.
Who will be photographing my wedding?
If you book a wedding package with 2 photographers, it could either be Sarah & Paul, Sarah & another photographer, or Paul & another photographer. The other photographer (second shooter) would most likely be someone we have worked with before, with a quality up to our standards. If you book a wedding package with 1 photographer it would either be Sarah or Paul photographing your wedding.
Do you shoot family sessions?
Yes, we definitely do! Contact us today to book your session with us!
When will we receive our images?
For weddings it can take up to 14-16 weeks. For family, couple, engagement, or newborn sessions it generally take about 4-5 weeks to have your photos ready.

What is the cancellation policy for a wedding?

All cancellations must be made in writing and signed by all contracted parties. If the Clients fail to supply written cancellation or cancels within 30 days of the contracted date, the Clients shall be required to pay the full balance of the Contract.
What is the cancellation policy for a family, couple, or newborn session?
A payment to secure the session date is due on receipt of your invoice. Payment is transferable if you need to reschedule for any reason. If you cancel for any reason (other than bad weather), we will retain 25% of the session fee and refund 75% of session fee back to you.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Northwest Florida. We love to travel for weddings and sessions, so please feel free to contact us and we can talk about yours!
Can I get all of the images from my wedding?
We provide only a selection of the photos to each client, not all of the images. We do this to provide each client with the best images out of all the photos that we take from the wedding. As you can probably imagine, there are usually quite a few images that are either out of focus, too bright or not bright enough, or simply not a good looking photo. We sort through all of these images so that our clients don’t have to, and as I said provide the best out of all the images. Don’t worry, you most likely aren’t missing anything from the day that we photographed. This is standard practice with professional wedding photographers.
What is the online gallery?
The online gallery is where you can view all of the images that we have selected and edited from your session or wedding. You will have the ability to order prints or digital download from the online gallery. Most of the time if you book a session or wedding with us, you will receive a certain amount of print credit that you can use towards a purchase on your online gallery. The online gallery will expire after a certain amount of time.
How long is my print credit good for?
Your print credit is good for 3 months after we have delivered your photos (emailed you your “photos ready” email). After three months your print credit will be deactivated and will no longer be usable.
Will the online gallery always be accessible?
No, the online gallery will not always be accessible. It will expire after a certain amount of time.
What is a copyright and who owns the images from my wedding or session?
Copyright in photography means that we own an image we created. The law says we created that image as soon as the shutter on the camera is released.
This means that photographer copyright laws state that whoever captured the photo on the camera owns the copyright.
We do provide full printing rights with all of the images that are delivered to our clients. This means that you have full permission to print your images wherever and whenever you would like.
