Mary & Rich’s Supposey Wedding in Pensacola, Florida
Sixty of their favorite people, three first looks, heart-shaped pizza, and a dance floor that did not quit—Mary & Rich’s day at Supposey had that perfect mix of elegance and playful, VIP-club energy.

Morning details & getting ready
We started coverage with heirloom-meets-modern details: Mary’s pearls and earrings, the decorative soles on her shoes, the couple’s shoes together, and Rich’s watch with the engraving inside. Those little pieces set the tone.
Final touches in the suites brought the sweet moments: a flower girl’s face when she saw Mary, and a quick, emotional look from Mary’s mom as the gown was buttoned.
A trio of first looks
The afternoon flowed through three intentional reveals: Mary with her dad, Rich with his mom, and then Mary & Rich together. Keeping things close to the suites meant minimal movement and maximum calm before guests arrived.
Ceremony in the gardens
With Emmanuel “Manny” Frye officiating, the processional set an elegant mood and Mary’s entrance swelled into a cinematic moment. After the recessional, we tucked the couple inside to keep the timeline smooth for family photos and wedding-party portraits.
Sunset portraits
We slipped out right at golden hour for a soft, pastel set on the grounds—no sand required—before bringing the couple back to join cocktail hour. (Sunset was 4:48 PM; we started at 4:25 PM to catch the best light.)
Reception highlights (aka: let’s party)
-
Grand entrance: Best Man & MOH kicked things off with bubbles, then Mary & Rich swept in and moved straight into their first dance to “Make You Feel My Love.”
-
Dinner: Pizza service (yes, including a heart-shaped pie for the newlyweds).
-
Toasts & a meaningful moment: After speeches, Mary presented a bouquet to honor her mom—one of the night’s most tender beats.
-
Dance floor open: We pulled a big group photo to launch the party, then sunglasses and light-up foam wands took it from there.
-
Last song: “Gratitude” closed the night on a hands-in-the-air note.

A note on portraits
Mary & Rich asked for portraits with movement, beautiful lines, and flattering angles—“royal” but alive and romantic—and candids that feel playful and a little bit rock-star on the dance floor. That’s our happy place, too. Browse more moments like this in our wedding portfolio.
