There’s something innately magical about weddings; they are a palpable testament of love, a celebration of two souls intertwining for life. But when Sam and Jay empowered us to capture their journey of love, it turned into an experience that left us truly enriched and deeply invigorated.
Our day began in the tranquil setting of their beach house. The sun was a gracious presence, gently illuminating the intimate moments of anticipation and preparation. We seized the opportunity to capture the intricate details, embedded in the lovely chaos of these hours – the bride’s dress elegantly hanging, looking almost ethereal, the sparkle of her jewelry and the promise held in the symbols of their impending union, the wedding bands and her engagement ring. As photographers, our hearts always yearn for that treasured ‘first look’; it’s the raw, untamed emotion we live for, and Sam and Jay’s exchange at Eden Gardens State Park proved an epitome of this enchantment. Following the ceremony, we captured the newlyweds exploring the park, a paradisiacal backdrop to their radiant smiles and infectious joy. The day at Eden Gardens State Park was nothing short of a spectacle we’ve rarely witnessed before and felt incredibly lucky to be a part of.
Before we knew it, the sun was beginning to bow down, setting the sky on fire, and presenting us with a breathtaking view at the beach. It appeared as if the universe was commencing Sam and Jay’s soulful soiree on its canvas. We left the park and carried the celebration back to their beach house, where the reception was nothing less than an extension of their warmth and jubilation.
The grandeur and excitement reached its zenith when Sam and Jay decided to captivate everyone with a sparkler exit. But the best part? The competitive spirit that showed up at the very end of the night when they braced themselves to jump into the pool, wedding clothes on and all! Their laughter echoed into the night, encapsulating the fun that signified their special day.
