I pulled into the parking lot at the Inn at Crystal Beach ready to photograph a beautiful Destin wedding. Even though I was ready, the weather didn’t seem to be on the same page. The sky was full of clouds, and the rain was itching to fall down and soak every last one of us. The wind had already decided to start blowing well before I had arrived. The Inn at Crystal Beach is a lovely high rose condominium with an amazing restaurant conveniently located on the first floor. I met the bride, Cindy, in the lobby of the high rise. I then met the groom who was smartly hiding away in a separate room so as not to sneak a peak at his beautiful bride-to-be. I took the groom outside, and we took a short walk down the road to where I set him up for a first look. Cindy soon came out of the condo lobby and made her way towards Drew. The anticipation was building. She walked behind him, tapped him on his shoulder, and he slowly turned around to admire his gorgeous fiancé. This first look was such an intimate time between this bride and groom, and I really loved being able to capture their emotions and feelings in the middle of this special moment. The weather decided to cooperate with us as well, which made this time all the more better. This wedding eremomy too place directly on the beach, walking distance from where I photographed the bride and groom’s first look. The ceremony was short and simple. Close friends and family were there to witness Cindy and Drew tying the knot. After the ceremony was over I had a few more minutes to have some alone time with Cindy and Drew. The sun was setting at I was having the amazing opportunity of photographing the bride and groom along the shore’s edge, the lighting was spectacular. The weather was perfect. You couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day.
