How can you tell when two people are meant to be together? Some say it’s the look one get’s from his or her significant other. Some say it’s the way one feels when together. Still, others claim that the sure-fire way to tell that a couple is destined to wed is to see how much love is given to their pets and vice versa. Emily and Alex not only exuded love for each other, but also for their two dogs, Jameson and Jack. Named after Emily and Alex’s favorite whiskey brands, Jameson and Jack were more than adorable and stole the show during the engagement session. When you are a dog owner, you get it. You get the feeling of unconditional love poured out from a furry friend. You get the value of the rewarding feeling while taking care of an animal that needs you. Dare I say we need each other? I am digressing, but I just had to go off on a bit of a tangent about these dogs. As a dog owner myself, I totally and completely get it. All five of us started the photo session in downtown Pensacola, Florida and made our way to Pensacola Beach for some picturesque sunset photos. Along the way we made a couple stops at a historic church and the steps of the Pensacola courthouse. Since it was December, we of course had to get a few shots in front of a huge Christmas tree. The session was a very rewarding and entertaining time, not only for myself, but for Emily, Alex, Jameson, and Jack.
