The beginning of the wedding day is often the most exciting part of the day. The anticipation of what is to come and knowing that this is the day that you get to marry your best friend. Before the ceremony Nova and Latoya chose to do a first look. We watched them privately exchange vows which was so tender and sweet!
Latoya and Nova are a fun-loving couple who met at work. They are two beautiful women who love each other so much! Since they had been together for several years they decided it was time to take their relationship one step further. Latoya and Nova are both from Pensacola and wanted to get married in their hometown. They chose to have their wedding at the beautiful 5 Eleven Palafox wedding venue in downtown Pensacola near Seville Quarter, where they were married in front of family and friends.
After the ceremony, we took some portraits around downtown Pensacola during sunset. The lighting couldn’t have been any better that day! The sunsets in Pensacola are absolutely breathtaking! I can’t think of a better backdrop for a photo session than downtown Pensacola! We spent some time walking around and exploring different areas while taking photos before heading back to the 5 Eleven Palafox where we did additional photos inside as well.
Pensacola is one of my favorite places to photograph weddings because there are so many different venues to choose from! if you’re looking for something historic or romantic, there are plenty of options!
