Welcome to Seaside, Florida! The place where The Truman Show with Jim Carrey was filmed. Also, the place where many people flock to have their weddings, relax in stunning beach cottages, and enjoy the sugar white sandy beaches of the Emerald Coast. Seaside, Florida is tucked away on the beautiful highway 30A which is located in between Panama City Beach and Destin, Florida. Seaside is known for it’s culture of family fun, art, music, and sunny beach time. Having your wedding ceremony, reception, or other wedding day events is sure to please anyone looking for a beautiful and clean setting of beach, coastal urban, and rustic all mixed together. Rebecca and Don decided to start out there wedding day getting dressed and prepared in a couple of the beach cottages that are so popular in Seaside, Florida. Rebecca, her bridesmaids, and family were getting ready in an awesome looking beach cottage literally right on the beach. The guys were just down the road a short walk over. After everyone was dressed to the nines, Rebecca and Don decided to do a first look together. The ceremony took place at Eden Gardens State Park just a short drive down the road. Eden Gardens deserves a blog post for itself. It’s so rich in history and full of rustic beauty. In the middle of the park sits a huge live oak tree which has been dubbed the wedding tree by Eden Gardens State Park. The wedding ceremony was performed right there under the old live oak. After the ceremony we all returned back to Seaside, Florida for some amazing sunset photos on the beach as well as the reception at Bud & Alley’s restaurant. Everyone danced the night away with the steady beats pumping by D.J. Shane Keller with Rock the House.
