I first met Danielle and Ethan while photographing their engagement photos at the Live Oak Plantation. They were the kindest couple. They’re the kind of people you feel like you’ve been friends with for years. So, when Danielle and Ethan asked me to document their wedding a few months later in the same location where we did their engagement session, I was beyond thrilled.
Over the years, I have photographed more for Danielle and Ethan. From Danielle’s maternity photos to their first family session with their son, Jace. And the best part is, we did their family photos at the same location as their wedding and engagement photos. I am a sentimentalist by nature and loved when Daniel and Ethan wanted to capture their son’s first photos in the very same spot where they shared their wedding vows.
Journeying through life with my past clients and watching their families grow is remarkable. And it is the coolest thing when they ask me to photograph their children and growing families.
Time is truly precious. Simple moments like candid family photos are something I cherish so much. Now that my girls are older, I look back at old photos from time to time and relive the little moments I have forgotten over the years. Whoever said life goes by fast was right. And though it can’t slow down, at least I can freeze some of the memories in the form of photos.
